Diamond Jubilee Uniondale Theatre reviews
Very disappointed
When we arrived at the venue, we were surprised to receive special access to a club area, which was very nice and unexpected. The opening act Little Dragons were not impressive, but most of all, Diamond Jubilee disappointed. He was not as much of a showman as he wants to be. His recordings have such depth and soul, not live. Maybe he wasn't feeling well or something. He was dull, he was shallow. I felt like he didn't do justice to the songs that everyone knows, and then spent extra time on the ones that few know. All in all, we were looking forward to this concert, but it was not what we were anticipating, that is for sure. I felt like he didn't do justice to the songs that everyone knows, and then spent extra time on the ones that few know. And, when we got to the venue, everyone in my group left very underwhelmed.
